So whats new? Well my hair and i needed to part ways for awhile...it was getting a little too mermaid like. Anyway, so i chopped it off, this isn't the best picture ever (i took a nap today and went for a walk, but i guess this will do). It was the biggest pile of hair i have ever seen on the floor! I can't put it up anymore, so i guess i will get to find lots of new fun ways to do it! Hope you like it! Sorry if it looks creepy that i am posting pictures of myself.

So we want to start painting our house...well really our baby room (no i am not pregnant, it's just the only room we have with nothing in it so it seems easy enough to start there). We want to paint it like a sage green type color and once we do have a baby we will add some darker cherry type of furniture for the crib and dressers and stuff. But we are also thinking of doing like a fun painting on one of the walls since it's a bigger room and i don't want the color to be overwhelming. Anyone have suggestions on what to paint? i ask shawn but all he says is WWII pictures and florida stuff...neither of those seem very "kid-friendly".

These are pics of a cake I made for my Mom's and sister Kristina's birthday...it was decadent. It was a double layer cake with custard in the middle with chocolate frosting and raspberries on the top....unfortunately my mom did not get to enjoy this masterpiece since we didn't see her in time.

I can not believe 2010 is over! AAAAAHHHH and before I know it February will be here! These are just a few pics from our wonderful Christmas day. The snowy one? Yeah, that is headed up a hill that goes to my mom's new house! It is clear out there, but it was foggy that day and it looked really cool out on the ridge. My brother in law got stuck just out side the lane that goes to my mom's house. They spent an hour and a half trying to get him unstuck...

Well I can finally say that I have finished Christmas shopping! For some reason I always have the goal to finish it early so I can relax, and for some reason I am still doing shopping the week of Christmas! Not that I am procrastinating, but it just takes so long!!!!! It feels good to finally be done, and they all look so nice next to our tender little tree. I was so tempted to put up our third stocking...it is really cute but alas, I guess I will have to wait until we have a third member of our family.

I love this time of year!

Merry Christmas

I just want to take a moment and tell everyone how thankful I am for this time of year. It is easy to get caught up in the commercial side of everything, but I am so thankful for everything that I have in my life. I have the greatest husband in the world, and a wonderful new start in the next chapter in our life together.
