Happy Fathers Day Shawn!

So, we are having a baby!!!! Hooray! I am in my 11th week now, and soon out of the first trimester (which will be so nice because I have been SO incredibly sick). My due date is January 11th, which seems like forever away.

The pictures you see are when I told shawn the day I found out. I had made a really nice dinner and told him that I had a present for him for being such a great husband. I bought those gator onsies just after our trip to florida a couple years ago and have had them ever since. When he pulled them out he was so excited! Our families are so excited too! we told my family last sunday and shawn's family yesterday.

Any advice you can give on how to combat the queasiness and every other pregnancy mishap I would love to hear them! Hope everyone is doing well!

Hooray! Shawn finally graduated! This is a little late but these are from shawn's graduation on May 9th. Don't look at my arms though cause they are totally chubby in that picture...yucky :). Anyway, for weeks I would ask shawn if he wanted to order announcements and invite his family and friends and he never would respond with anything so I decided to throw him a surprise graduation party.

The announcements are there. I tried to be super fancy too! I even sent them in envelopes with a wax seal...I really should be nicknamed Martha Stewart or something. Totally teasing...I am definitely not crafty at all. So I had been planning for weeks on how to get shawn out of the house that night for his party. Every time I turned around another obstacle would be staring me in the face. First it was shawn's alumni water polo game that he tried to schedule for that night and he got really mad at me when i told him, "you just can't do it that night!" He finally re-scheduled that. Then we found out that his department convocation was that night at the same time! AAAAHHHH, i could not catch a break with this! He decided that he didn't want to go over so late at night (thankfully i might add) and just wanted to go to dinner. By the time we got back all our family was over and he was totally shocked (even though i almost, well pretty much blew it, over dinner). Everything was a success though and i was running around trying to take care of everything so i forgot to take pictures of the actual party. I tried to re-create it above so you could get a feeling (i know i am a total dork).
